System Administrator

If you are a talented and dedicated System Administrator who is eager to leverage your Windows Server expertise in the world of Cloud technologies, we want to hear from you!

Provident is a dynamic financial services company committed to embracing modern technologies. Our current Windows Server-based infrastructure is hosted on AWS, but we plan to transition to native cloud-based services in the future. Therefore, we are looking for talented colleague who is experienced in Windows Server administration but also open to learning AWS Cloud-based technologies.

You will provide stable and scalable core infrastructure solutions for new business requirements and projects. You will participate and support the standardisation, consolidation, and optimisation of Cloud related IT services on European level (4 markets) aligned with global infrastructure strategy and guidelines defined by Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE).

What you will do:

• Provide On Premise Infrastructure Management supporting running business, managing and solve all incidents and problems,
• You will participate in extensive Cloud training and take an exam during the initial period,
• Work very closely with Cloud Center of Excellence Team to support Cloud services and taking over operational tasks of it,
• Work with the Developers, Network and DBA specialists and Cloud architects to deliver the IT infrastructure services with agreed goals and roadmap which support the overall infrastructure and cloud strategy,
• Suggest any technologies or solution ideas in the Cloud Platform Engineer team that could enable business for growth, improve productivity, reduce costs and support business change priorities to Architect team,
• Deliver infrastructure environment to support business needs and new projects,
• Responsible for ITIL processes and Agile methodologies delivery in relevant Infrastructure domain.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent,
• At least 3 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management,
• Good understanding of IT technology standards,
• Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure and security solutions,
• General understanding of ITIL
• strong English knowledge (written and spoken)
• result-oriented mindset
• strong problem solution skills
• logical thinking

Advantage(s):

• Good understanding and experience in AWS technology,
• Cloud Practitioner certificate in Amazon Web Services
• Knowledge of ITIL “Service Foundation” level,
• Participating in the implementation of IT Infrastructure services,
• Working experience in IT projects and working together with project teams in international environment.
